As a business, it’s our job to be experts in our field and to provide excellent and honest work.
Our customers expect nothing less. But we also know we have additional responsibilities to our neighbors and or community. It’s our duty and joy to help where we can. And we provide the same expertise and work to these special projects.
We learned the Central Florida Children’s Home roof was in bad shape, so we offered a hand. The children’s home has existed since 1973. They care for children whose parents either cannot or will not provide for them. It’s an easy decision to help people helping other people. Together with the Orlando Firefighters’ Benevolent Association, churches and businesses, we built a roof. But it was a little more than a roof. The joy of working in the community is working with the community. We love belonging to Orlando and the Central Florida community. We bonded with the other workers and the Children’s Home. And that bond reminds us that we are all part of this community.
The Central Florida Children’s home serves a great purpose to our city. They care for the children under this new roof. We are lucky to have them and their service to the children in Central Florida. It was a pleasure to work together with these other organizations, to provide a roof and serve these people while they serve the children of Central Florida.
We build roofs every day. We know that each roof is atop a family’s home. But this roof was special because it was for a special family.
